Peace on Earth, good will toward blah blah

If Robert Lee "Bobby" Helms, who wrote "Jingle Bell Rock," weren't dead, I would ask him for an apology for inflicting his holiday earworm on us all.

OMG (I know how much you love these little initial things) - I HATE that song. I hated it from the first time I heard it, at the School 2 Christmas Pageant when I was in 4th grade and one of the transfers from the closed School 11, dressed as a jester, no less, danced and tumbled and thumped and flopped around on the stage for an inordinately long version of that song. I remain scarred for life.

Oh my goodness—talk about taking the joy out of the holidays. Stuff like this is what the barking heads at Fox are talking about when they're ranting about the War on Christmas.
