If George Zimmerman stays in his car and doesn't follow Trayvon Martin—as a police dispatcher instructed him—then Martin is still alive. Seems pretty simple.

Zimmerman may have been found not guilty by the court, and, having been part of a trial jury once, I respect the process. But the moment Zimmerman left his car, he was no longer innocent. It's a difference worth noting.

I wonder what Zimmerman's legal bills are. I wonder who's going to pay them.

There's the beauty - his expensive legal team worked for "free." However Zimmerman was able to have a "defense fund" raised by (who knows?) several or many people. The fund was sizable enough he could not ask for the court to pay his legal fees - but all the expensive leg work, expert testimony, witness gathering, etc was all paid by the "defense fund."

The expensive legal team was paid in exposure and press. They can write their own check now with their next clients.

If there is justice Zimmerman will be haunted by this every last day of his life.

I think Zimmerman will come to believe—or the verdict will make him come to believe—that his version of events is the correct one. And for all we know, it is the correct one. But still, for me this case still comes down to his getting out of his car after police told him not to.

The press his lawyer gets for this will bring in offers from all over...He should give Zimmerman 1% of the new business

Zimmerman should be prohibited from making even a penny from all of this.
