True. The sad part is they started as The Learning Channel. No one watched... people will break your heart every time.

I read where the channel was started by NASA and the federal Department of Health, Education and Welfare. They couldn't possibly have imagined how their idea would devolve.

All Reality TV is like that. Look at what The Discovery Channel has become (The Alaska Un-reality Channel).

I shouldn't admit this, but I like two reality TV shows: "Kenda: Homicide Hunter," because he's just like the cops I worked with during my reporter days; and "Moonshiners," which is the best program that has ever been on any network in the history of television.

I haven't seen any Alaska shows, probably because I'm afraid Sarah Palin will make an unexpected appearance.

My favorite political writer, Charles P. Pierce, refers to her as "Princess Dumbass of the Northwoods."
