Just another gasbag

title or description

The other night, I caught an excerpt of this interview and gave Piers Morgan high marks for aggressive questioning and for doing the journalistically incorrect thing of saying what's actually on his mind. After watching the entire interview, though, I think Morgan comes across as just another gasbag, a la O'Reilly and Hannity:

(Sound and fury)

There is a petition circulating to deport him for opposing gun laws... 40,000 signatures on it now.

It seems the folks who are so worried about their Second Amendment rights don't understand the First.

And the UK, long-acquainted with how horrible he is, has a competing petition to keep him in the states because the Brits so do not want him back.

When I watched that entire interview (having never viewed him before except in snippets), I was astonished that Morgan resorted to name-calling and bullying and interrupting his guest—in short, acting like a lout, which is why I don't watch a guy like Hannity. I'm not afraid of his ideas; I just don't have much tolerance for bombast.
