One of the reasons I love my wife

I am sitting here typing, waiting for narcotics to kick in to dull the edge of my kidney stone pain. I'll be here awhile. So I went into the bedroom to kiss my wife goodnight and told her I was waiting until I wasn't so sore before going to bed.

"Good night," she said, kissing me. "And good luck."

What's not to love about a woman who quotes Edward R. Murrow?

Proverbs 31 Hebrew Bible Woman of Valor
Her mouth is full of wisdom, her tongue with kindly teaching. She oversees the activities of her household and never eats the bread of idleness. Her children declare her happy; her husband praises her, “Many women have done well, but you surpass them all.” Grace is deceptive, Beauty is illusory; It is for her fear of God that a woman is to be praised. Extol her for the fruit of her hand, and let her works praise her in the gates. Holidsy#

Why she's kept me around for 32 years is one of the great mysteries in the history of human behaviour.
