But by far the most aggressive assault on Mr. Romney’s time at Bain will come from allies of Newt Gingrich, who plan to saturate South Carolina’s airwaves over the next few days with excerpts from a scathing 30-minute movie about how Bain Capital disrupted the lives of everyday workers.

In response on Monday, Restore Our Future, the leading “super PAC” backing Mr. Romney, reserved $2.3 million worth of television advertising time in South Carolina, hoping to match the $3.4 million campaign of negative television and radio ads from a super PAC promoting Mr. Gingrich, Winning Our Future.

Though Perry is completely clueless and Santorum obsessed with everyone's genitals, Gingrich can't overcome the fact that he's the most dislikable candidate.

$5.7M is a lot to spend on egos, even gigantic self-inflated egos.

Gingrich's principle value is in up-ending Romney's apple cart.

I often wonder where all that money comes from and goes, envisioning it as giant waves of nickels crashing on the American public in the seething tides of politics.

Ask the Supreme Court justices about Citizens United, and you'll know where it comes from—and it doesn't come from there in nickels and dimes.
