Sympathy for the devil

title or description

So I'm going through the online Complete Phobia Dictionary trying to figure out what's ailing me vis-a-vis this blog. As it turns out, I figure it's scriptophobia. And while I was in the dictionary's "S" neighborhood, I spotted this term:

Satanophobia.

Fear of the devil, right? No. The phobia dictionary tells me it's (wait for this one)—

Fear of Satin.

Actually, I'm a lot more fearful of polyester. But there's no name for that.

That defies all logic and cannot possibly be correct...it's gotta be a typo, right?

I respectfully submit that what you describe in your last sentence there is Fakefabriphobia.

Now I'm off to do the googly thing on satanophobia. (not nearly as kinky as it sounds)
