Stoned again

As in kidney.

I can feel it working its way through the plumbing, but so far, I haven't heard the "tink!" of cinder hitting porcelain.

I think I'll go outside, mow the lawn, and have a couple of beers afterward to flush it through.

Rather than continuing this wince-inducing riff, I'll just conclude by saying guys weren't built to pee gravel. Women either, for that matter—and I've talked to more than one woman who has endured stones and also given birth. They said pain-wise, the stones are worse.

Guys, feel free to uncross your legs now.

Surly youth #2 had one last June. Not pretty. May you pee gravel quickly and painlessly. (As opposed to pea gravel, which I buy for one area of the garden and love to say. PEA gravel.)

It popped out today, all weird-shaped and jagged. I named it Rocco.

Tell SY2 to stay hydrated. That's my plan for the rest of the summer.
