Really don't mind if you sit this one out

The last six songs in the "purchased" folder on my iTunes:

• "Disco Inferno," the Trammps.

• "Play That Funky Music," Wild Cherry.

• "28," Steppenwolf.

• "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)," Parliament.

• "In the Midnight Hour," Wilson Pickett.

• "Time Has Come Today," the Chambers Brothers.


The last six albums I've purchased from iTunes:

• "Songs of No Consequence," Graham Parker.

• "Neroli," Brian Eno.

• "Shine a Light," The Constantines.

• "Jeff," Jeff Beck.

• "Bless Its Pointed Little Head," Jefferson Airplane.

• "Thick as a Brick," Jethro Tull.

Frankly, I'm disappointed that you didn't have "Give Up the Funk" already....

Hey, I was a rocker boy. I hated *all* of that music back then. The good stuff (well, the stuff I think is good, anyway) has taken awhile to start working its way to the surface.
