No more spinach

Yeah I know Popeye you say
I yam what I yam but
That's only because you can eat
Spinach and get all muscle-y
And beat up Bluto, woo Olyve Oyl,
Buy Whimpy a burger and make that
Anchor tattoo on your arm dance
Puffing your pipe and reminding
Everyone that you’re a sailor man

I wonder what would have been the
Cut of your jib if your doctor had
Told you no more spinach

Bluto would have beaten you senseless
Olive Oyl would have run off with
Oh I don’t know
Maybe Superman why hang out
With a landlocked sailor when you can

Glad you had fun. It's curious—I was a little bit down when I wrote it. That's why it's not flarf: this came easier.

I have no ideas at all about how any or all of that works.

It has that feel of, "Oh,yeah? Well... I know you are but what am I?" that sounds funny when it's a kid talking but it really has a lot of other emotional stuff bundled in with it.

Very whimsical, almost childlike, a little defiant. Nice!
