Someone took a trip in the way back machine!

Surly youth #1 has become a huge Otis Redding fan, and burned me a cd of stuff I'd never heard before.

I'm not a Yes fan—in fact, I think "I've Seen All Good People" or whatever it's called is one of the most annoying songs ever—but I've always liked those two songs.

"I've Seen All Good People" is almost as annoying as Boston's "More Than a Feeling."

"Tales From Topographic Oceans" is one trippy Yes album. Progressive rock at its best if you appreciate it from a musical standpoint.

Almost nothing is as annoying as Boston's "More Than a Feeling." (evil grin)

But I love the Smokey (all of it), the Plant (by any name) and "Atlantis."

Agreed on Boston. But no on Yes.

"Queen of the Highway" is a good one, as are all your Donovan picks.
Heck, I dig most of your list.
William Idol. hahaha

Too bad you missed the late '60s and early '70s, Becky. You would've fit right in.

And, hey, maybe I was there. Ya never know.

Love Marvin, The Temps, Smokey ... all music from the Motown era. I also love A Change is Gonna Come.

Here's hoping a change is gonna come to this damn weather!
